Biography

Mr. Strong attended the University of British Columbia graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

While attending UBC he began to specialize in industrial refrigeration and was the recipient of the ASHRAE scholarship.

He worked with a refrigeration contracting firm before starting consulting.

Mr. Strong wrote the course manual and tutored the Provincial Government certification program for refrigeration plant operators and sat on the provincial government Safety Advisory Committee. He is a member of various ASHRAE committees and is currently the president of R. H. Strong Refrigeration Design, Inc.
